Council has recently added another vehicle and staff member to the graffiti cleanup crew, with the new vehicle and staffer being dedicated to "paint out" jobs rather than graffiti removal jobs (which uses chemicals and hot water under pressure). This crash barrier is an example of a "paint out" job, where paint is simply slapped over the top of graffiti. I went past this spot a few weeks ago, and saw these barriers being painted. Hasn't taken long for the local mess makers to return for a bit of Saturday night scribbling.
