Australia Post cleaned this letterbox in Strathfield a month or so ago. It has since been hit again. Well, that's life.
What frustrates me though is that an Australia Post employee or contractor visits this letterbox every working day. Since they have to drive a vehicle to it, they can't be legally blind (although I watched an Australia Post van being backed repeatedly into a road sign last week, so maybe some of their drivers do have eyesight problems).
I wrote to the Chairman of Australia Post about this very issue. How can they have someone visit these letterboxes and view this graffiti 5 or 6 times a week, every week - and yet fail to do anything about cleaning this mess off? What is their problem? What the hell is their management thinking?
