I bought this handy gadget at Bunnings for less than $10. I do a quick walk around the block once a week, just before rubbish collection, and pick up as much rubbish as I can. I usually get a full shopping bag within 5 minutes. That's my good deed for the week.
If your street is filthy, get one.
