Derelict building - cnr Parkview Rd and Blackwall Point Rd

I'm not sure what the story is with this site - whether it's a development that's fallen through or what.  I do know that it's in a shocking state, and it's getting worse.

A lot of the windows have been broken by vandals, and there is graffiti all along this wall (hard to see at this level of zoom, but it is there).

The bottom panes of this window are broken, and it looks like there's been a fire lit inside.

Multiple broken windows.

Graffiti around the front entrance.

Broken windows out the front.

The front doors were once boarded up, but someone has ripped the boards off in order to gain entry.  If Chubb Security are still looking after this building (as the stickers on the glass doors proclaim), they aren't doing a very good job.

When I was in London some years back, the area I was staying in had a lot of empty buildings.  The common feature to all of them is that all windows and doors were bricked up.  At the time, I thought that was overkill - but not any longer.  Boarding up the doors just isn't enough to keep a determined vandal out.

As for the location of this dump, it's right opposite the Chiswick Community Centre.  I don't think it is a very good advertisement of the Chiswick community.
