This is the ferry wharf at the end of Pellisier Rd in Putney. Note the overflowing rubbish bin in the middle of the gates.
Most of the road down to the wharf is littered with rubbish - this photo really doesn't do it justice. You'd easily fill a garbage bag every 10 metres or so.
Someone has also flattened this sign next to the wharf - I doubt that is the effect of natural causes, as many more signs in this area have been pushed over.
Some of the rubbish in the grass next to the wharf. This spot is a real mess. I've seen tidier garbage dumps than around here.
Update - I've reported this to Ryde Council and asked them to clean it up.
