Cleaning the Iron Cove Bridge

The RTA is taking some flak locally over the decision to build a new bridge next to the existing Iron Cove Bridge.  I have no comment on that issue.

However, I noticed this week that all the tags on the girders of the bridge have been painted over.  The bridge is of a box girder type construction, and every upright girder had graffiti sprayed on both sides.  

Credit where credit is due - the RTA have spotted it and acted on it.  I don't know if my requests to paint the underpass had anything to do with it, but regardless, the bridge is no longer a visual eyesore.
