This is what the underside of the bridge looked like in January before I started writing to the RTA. Thankfully, it no longer looks like this most of the time. What still gets me though is that thousands of people walk under here every week, and none of them thought to contact the RTA and tell them that they had a problem.
I'd also assume that an RTA Bridge Inspector visited this site from time to time to check on the structural soundness of the bridge, and they didn't bother to do anything about this.Just goes to show what treating things as somebody else's problem will get you.
